Artist Bio
Dawn Marie has studied the arts and graphic design at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and the Southwest School of Art in San Antonio. In another life, she worked as a graphic designer for IBM in Raleigh and San Jose, among other corporate IT positions. She was also the president of the Lettering Arts of North Carolina Society.

Currently, she volunteers as a graphic designer and web administrator for Gold Ribbon Rescue, a Golden Retriever rescue in central Texas. Her Golden, Savannah is partially responsible for all compositions and inspirations.

Dawn Marie's pastels have been exhibited in juried shows throughout Texas.

I love the vibrancy of color. I love the way it plays with you, the way it creates mood and emotion without effort. The texture and expression of it relies on having fun. So, I hope my work comes alive for you, that it presents itself with blaring joy!​​​​
